In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, I have structured this Privacy Policy to be transparent and clear. I take the protection of your personal data, intellectual property, and licensing rights seriously. This policy explains which personal data I collect, why I collect it, and how you can access, update, or delete your personal data and that of your animal companion.

By continuing to use my website and services after the GDPR came into effect on 25 May 2018, you agree to the updated terms.

Legal Basis
Data processing is based on Articles 6 and 7 GDPR. For service provision, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfilment).

I use technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Data is stored locally on secure devices.

 

Consent for Communication via WhatsApp and E-Mail
For practical purposes, I use WhatsApp, for example, to send audio files. If a service is booked, you will usually provide your personal data, such as your postal address for invoice delivery, via email.

By agreeing to communicate with me via WhatsApp, you consent to your personal data (e.g., name, phone number) being stored and used for communication regarding the preparation and execution of the service using the instant messaging service WhatsApp, operated by WhatsApp, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. Your consent also acknowledges that WhatsApp, Inc. may receive personal data (including communication metadata) that is processed on servers outside the EU (e.g., in the USA). WhatsApp may share this data with other companies within and outside the Facebook group. Further information can be found in WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

I do not have detailed knowledge of, nor influence over, the data processing carried out by WhatsApp, Inc.

You may revoke this consent at any time for the future without giving reasons by sending me an email requesting the cessation of processing of your personal data.

Third-Party Processing
Personal data is processed only by my web host and email provider under Art. 28 GDPR contracts.

Data Transfers Outside the EU
No transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA occurs.

Cooperation with Processors and Third Parties

Personal data is processed exclusively within the framework of requirements by my web host and email provider. I have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) with both providers. This contract regulates all relevant issues regarding data protection and data security. These providers therefore ensure at least the level of data protection and security described here.

Transfers to Third Countries

No transfer of personal data outside the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) takes place.

 

Your Rights

You have the right to request a copy of your stored data at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of inaccurate data. Complete deletion is only possible if other rights (e.g., statutory accounting retention for 10 years) are not affected.

Right of Withdrawal and Objection

You have the right to withdraw consent for data processing for the future at any time. Data will then no longer be used for the purposes covered by the withdrawal.

Deletion of Data

Personal data will be deleted as soon as it no longer serves a purpose. If there is no contact for more than two years, I will delete your data related to the services I provided. Data relevant for tax purposes must be retained for 10 years and will be deleted after this period.

Contact

When you contact me, I store your user information and your animal’s information to process your request. These data are stored locally on my encrypted devices only, and are not shared with third parties. There is no synchronization with social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Xing.

If you contact me via email, phone, or messenger, your request including all personal data (e.g., name, inquiry) is stored for the purpose of processing. These data will not be shared without your consent. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR when related to a contract, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interest in efficient handling, or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR if consent was given (revocable at any time). Data remain stored until you request deletion, withdraw consent, or the purpose for storage ceases. Mandatory legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Comments and Posts

If you leave comments or contributions on my social media accounts or website, your IP address may be stored for 7 days based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security and spam prevention purposes.

I maintain profiles on social networks to communicate with customers and inform them about my services. The terms and privacy policies of the respective platforms apply when accessing them.

Web Hosting

My website is hosted using Wix.com Ltd., 40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel, which provides the technical infrastructure. I have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) with Wix. Wix processes data on my behalf, including user, content, usage, meta, and communication data, according to GDPR standards.

Advertising with Google AdWords
